LeidenShorts is the second largest festival for short film in the Netherlands. The festival takes place every year in various cultural spaces in Leiden, with Het Kijkhuis as the main location. During the four festival days, Leiden Shorts will show the world’s best new short films, four of which will receive Leiden Shorts awards. In addition to the main programme, Leiden Shorts offers an extensive program of events, lectures, workshops and meetings between filmmakers, the public and other stakeholders.
